Slow Food – Five Course Wine Dinner
October 21 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
$130A Celebration of Local & Sustainable Ingredients
Live music by David Berkeley
October 21 | 6:00pm | $130
The title of this dinner could very well have been, “What to Eat on a Burning Planet” or “Fine Dining Can’t Go On Like This” but we decided to name it Slow Food in honor of the movement that started 38 years ago in Italy. This dinner is Chef Jens’ response to the New York Times series of essays that confront the growing strain on our global food supply. Chef and his team are working on the menu for this extraordinary five-course dinner that celebrates food that is not only grown and raised locally, but also sustainably. Our wine director, James Krajewski will pair each course with wines that are made with the same philosophy.
Join us for an autumn evening on the patio with live music by the “musical poet” David Berkely. It’s sure to be a dinner to remember. Seating for this dinner will be communal and we are unable to accommodate dietary restrictions. Please make a note if you would like a non-alcoholic substitution. Gratuity is included.
“Slow Food unites the pleasure of food with responsibility, sustainability, and harmony with nature.” – Carlo Petrini
