The walls are changing at Farm & Table!
As many of you know, Farm & Table features rotating displays of art on our walls by many of the talented local artists and painters in our state. At the beginning of March, we said goodbye to Santiago Perez’ whimsical still-lifes and welcomed in the vibrant landscapes of Krysteen Waszak. As our featured artist during Women & Creativity, Waszak’s bright, beautiful depictions of New Mexico will be on display throughout the month of March.

Krysteen brings to her oil painting the same free spirited use of color, design and joie de vivre that is her signature of a lifetime. She says, “I see New Mexico and my subjects as bright, full of life and exciting, and that is how I paint them. I am happy to be out in the open spaces and mountains, observing and working to capture the landscape, changing light, clouds, and all manner of subjects.. I love how people live here in New Mexico, and I understand why they live here, it’s beautiful. Her work has been described as vibrant and uplifting. People are captivated and often exclaim “These are happy” or “They just make me smile.”
