Summer is a big deal on the farm. The long, sunny, days and short, cool nights, the green fields and abundant crops that summer brings is cause for major celebration, and we can’t help but be overcome with feelings of abundance, joy, and gratitude for the coming of another beautiful New Mexico summer. We’re so excited and grateful for the fresh tomatoes, zucchini, corn, and so many more fruits and vegetables we’ll be enjoying all summer long from Sol Harvest and all the other local farms that support us at Farm & Table.
What better way to celebrate the wonderful oncoming summer than with our second annual Summer Solstice Celebration? Along with Sol Harvest and La Parada Mercantile, we are so happy to bring you a full day of festivities on the longest day of the year!
IN THE FIELDS ~ Sol Harvest Farm
7am-8am: Yoga in the Field
Grab your mat and start your day with yoga led by Marisol Brito.
8am -9am: Field Blessing & Community Harvest Aimee of Sol Harvest will lead a field blessing after our yoga class. Then stay to join Farmer Ric for a community vegetable harvest. Take home some of the fruits (or veggies) of your labor.
6/7/8 pm: Field Walks w/ Farmer Ric
Walk the rows with Farmer Ric. Learn more about his passion for growing local and ask questions about growing your own. Expect a lovely sunset to close out the night.
ON THE PATIO ~ Farm & Table Restaurant
Be sure to make reservations to enjoy dinner on the patio at Farm & Table. Dinner served from 5pm – 9pm.
5pm -8pm: Sol Harvest Farm Stand
After dinner, buy local veggies from Sol Harvest Farm to take home to your table.
5:30pm -7:30pm Live Music w/ Sage Harrington
Enjoy live, acoustic music with local singer/songwriter Sage Harrington.
