October is a very special month for growers! Not only is it the most abundant time in the entire year, it is also – not coincidentally – Local Food Month. Here are some of the ways that we are celebrating seasonal, sustainable, accessible food at Farm & Table, in the state of New Mexico, and across the nation:

A Moveable Feast
October 1st – 31st, 2013

Last year, owner of Farm & Table Cherie Austin created the Movable Feast, which is a collaboration with several Albuquerque restaurants to offer a special locally-sourced dinner in celebration of National Local Food Day. This year, she turned the event over to Edible Santa Fe and has garnered an overwhelming response from more than 40 restaurants in participation! See the list of restaurants and join in.
